About

I was born in Manchester but have moved all over the country - finally settling north of Preston in 1996.

I have always had a passion for photography starting with a Zenith-E in the early 1970's but the digital revolution has transformed my photography giving me almost total control over the final output. I now use a D800 camera and a range of Nikon lenses although my overiding aim has been to get as much right in camera as I can so I spend as little time in front of the computer as I can.

My interest in photography was reignited when my wife bought me a days workshop with Dennis Bromage, a professional photographer based in the north east. I still use the techniques he taught me that day and have since been on another course with him.

I am now doing some portrait photography, mainly with family and friends but hope to expand into this in the future.

I hope you enjoy the images in the galeries - please add a note in my guestbook if you can.
